Booking Conditions

The rates include all bedlinen, towels, gas and electricity. Cots (not cot linen), high chairs and stowaway beds are available at an extra charge.

A non-refundable deposit of £100 per week per cottage and £150 per week for Muirfield Cottage, is required as confirmation of the booking. The remaining balance will be required 4 weeks prior to entry date.

In the event of cancellation, notice of cancellation must be sent by registered post or recorded delivery letter. The proprietor will then make an attempt to re-let the house. However, if this is unsuccessful, the balance will be payable in full. We therefore recommend that guests arrange private holiday insurance.

The proprietor reserves the right, under circumstances beyond control, to change the booking to a property to one of the larger cottages. Should it not be possible to offer an alternative holiday property, the rental paid will be returned in full to the hirer and the hirer shall have no further claim against the proprietor.

Prices shown on weekly tariff are per house irrespective of the number sharing up to the weekly maximum. The maximum number of guests, excluding babies in cots, is clearly stated and must not be exceeded. The proprietor reserves the right to terminate occupancy of the property without notice or refund in the case of a breach of this condition.

Pets. At the proprietor’s discretion, well behaved pets are welcome, but should not be allowed in bedrooms, on furniture or left unattended at any time in the property. There will be an additional charge per week, per pet (refer to price list).
